Hey Kickers,
I arrived in Greenbay today.
Thanks for the link, Peacepiper.
Looking forward to see you Tim in July.
Suprisingly, 22 hours of flying didn't take much toll on my back. I desperately want to see some you guys or talk to some of you.
I can sense a sudden urge to know how you guys cope here, probably because i have come so close to the people here. Pardon me for i have always been a passive member of the site. Part of the same lethargy. I guess the only thing i manage to do good enough is work.
But you know guys, i have always related deeply to the your thoughts and warmth for each other and felt like giving you guys a warm hug. I always felt i belonged here and i will be heard. And my heart goes out thanking every person who replies. I also know that you could do me all the help you can even if was in India. I remember discussing my girlfiend with the group and getting good advice on it. ( I'm still with her). I also remember sharing my feelings on the demise of my uncle who had AS.
To get back to the present, i will be staying with my team
in Residece Inn Mariott. They are all veggies. I'll have hard time eaing out with them.
Hey guys, may be you can suggest what should be a good diet here. I don't wanna live on cheese and bread, as i already have pot belly i'm unable to control.

So long kickers....
I'll keep in touch.

ank... first of all, the food... we've got it all... try all the things you've wondered about.

secondly... YEAH!

and just wanted to say if it makes you feel good to read posts and not post much... so be it... it's hard to ignore the number of ppl who've read and not replied on every topic... it always makes me feel good to know ppl feel comfortable coming in and soaking up all the good vibes!

also... if you need help, please ask someone for it, you might be surprised how happy ppl are to help!

warm greenbay hugs,
Teddi

keep smiling... it matters! FYI-Because of its literal definition ("fear of the marketplace"), agoraphobia is often misunderstood as a fear of crowds or a fear of open spaces. The clinical definition of agoraphobia is a fear of situations or places "from which escape might be difficult (or embarrassing) or in which help may not be available in the event" of a panic attack.

Hey Teddi,

I think i will now be an active member.
I had begun to feel i was losing it too early at 24 with a pot belly and a hunch back. I want to get fighting fit again. It hurts to see your physical personality getting affected and when you know there are so many things you can still do!

I will look to eat in moderate quantities, work out a little and stick to LSD.

so long....

Hugs and kisses..

I would be interested to know why that passage you sign off with is special to you. I love it.

Ankush

Glad to hear you made the 22 hour flight without much
pain..Do hope you get to meet several members from KA,
to see they are just as nice and helpfull in person..

As far as food goes, the U.S. has immigrants from around the
globe..Your choice of food is almost unlimited..

If your plans take you close to Texas, let me know..If not,
may your time spent in the U.S. be pleasant..

Take care!!

Hi Sigrid,
I read this in a book by Sathya Sai Baba, in India.
i guess it applies to all of us who need to be in complete acceptance of what our life situation is and surrender to His will who has our best are His mind.
Even our will, desires and aspirations is His!

Love,

Ankush

Welcome to America, ankushvij !

You must go to a grocery store while you are here, you will be amazed at all the fruits and vegetables. I am not sure what you eat normally,(so I am sorry if any of these suggestions seem offensive, like fish) but if you keep fruit, tofu, hard boiled eggs, tuna fish, and nuts and cheese on hand to eat, you can pretty much survive without going to a restaurant for at least one or two meals a day. I would also get some decent tea to keep in your room. You can also buy all sorts of pre-washed, bagged, ready to eat vegetables and salad greens that are super convenient to fix up to eat. If you put tofu and nuts and cheese on a salad it's very filling and nutricious and still veggie.
If I go to a restaurant and it looks like a starch disaster menu I get eggs and a salad for breakfast. I have found that eating vegetables for breakfast seems to be good for me, although I am still not really wanting to .

Hi Wind rider,

Thank you for the food tip. I do eat fish (my girlfriend is so fond of fish that i have to love it) and plan to be mostly on eggs, vegetables nad fruits. Also plan to try out a few delicacies here.
My pals who are total veggies are on a survival mission and its kind of tough to enjoy food in front of them. They don't even like the veg as you get it here. I'm here to have a good time. I have decided that breads will be a total no no.
Need to get lots of fibres in or else i tend to get constipated.
It should be fine.

Hello Ankush,

Welcome to the United States and Green Bay, WI. I will be transferring up there shortly... hard to believe that date is around the corner. Appears July 11th weekend is the date on the calander... but I may be there earlier for work for one week. May have a small hang up with sale of my condo in Phoenix... already sold, but have one issue.

Will you be staying at the Residence Inn your entire stay?

See you soon!

Tim
