Ah George, How nice to see you pop into our thread. Thoughts of my retirement were very much in my mind a few short years ago. The way things were I was destined to be unhappy and I really do not believe that we are here on this earth to simply accept mediocrity and unfulfillment. That, in my view, would be an insult to those that gave us this life. Jeanna was in a silimar position and of a similar mind set. Meeting and finally marrying has modified our futures in every conceivable way. Physically we won't be where we were heading, our emotional existence will be entirely dfferent too and yes, I'll have these photos and associated memories to review with ever increasing pleasure

Hi Connie, Happy to hear you're safely on the beautiful Isle of Man. I would say welcome to the UK, but you're not actually in it, but rather in one of the Crown dependancies Fascinating stuff to a librarian such as yourself.... You're absolutely right about our photos - what else is there possibly left to say? I'm just happy it looks as good as I actually was.
