If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Hi to all my "old" friends, and to the new ones I haven't met yet!
Every time I come here, which hasn't been very often in recent months unfortunately, there are more and more new faces, which is great, but it's good to see some I recognize as well
Hope you're all managing to keep the AS monster at bay - or at least as much under control as possible?
I'm gradually becoming more mobile thankfully, after spinal surgery last October and knee surgery last June (can't believe it's a year ago now!!!) It seems to be taking forever, but at last I can drive again, tho' I'm afraid belly dancing is still some way off....Hopefully I WILL get back there one day.....
I've started hydrotherapy, which is absolutely blissful
The water is 33.1C, and it's like stepping into a HOT bath! Wish I had a lovely hot pool like that at home that I could just roll out of bed into in the mornings when I wake up....It would make life sooo much easier
Love and best wishes to everyone.
Sue

Hi again Sue! I'm sorry to hear you've had to undergo two surgeries! I hope you'll be up and back at it very soon. Was your knee surgery arthroscopic? I've had one of those and recovered pretty quickly so I'd assume you had the more 'traditional' knee surgery? I hear the waters of the Pacific are nice and warm if you want to swim this way....... Meet you in the middle perhaps?
 Smiles, Connie

Hi Sue Glad to hear that you're improving, albeit slowly. The hydrotherapy sounds fabulous. I'm afaraid I have to settle for a plain old hot bath. Hope your husband is doing ok too. Take Care, Maggie

Hi Sue,
I know we talked in Jack's post, but I am so glad that your surgeries are over and you seem to be doing better.
It's good to see you posting again...
Take Care,

Sue,
I'm so glad to see you posting. I really miss seeing your smiling face next to your wonderful posts. I'm so sorry you have had such a rough year or so. But glad to know that things are improving since the surgeries. ahhhhh hydrotherapy!! wonderful thing isn't it?? I STUPIDLY stopped mine while going through chemo and the mastectomy. I told myself at the time it was just too much to have to deal with along with all the other treatments. But being honest with myself now, I know it was more because of being bald, and then not being able to fill out a swim suit completely. I've been trying to get back into it, but they had changed some of the program that I was with before. So it has been a bit of a struggle. But I finally get to start next month again. I can't wait. I've grown hair back and have a prosthesis so wont' feel so self conscious in the pool now.
I too wish I could have a warm pool at home to roll into in the mornings. Wouldn't that be heavenly?!?!
I really have missed seeing your posts. You have always been so helpful to so many. Lots of love and hugs to you!!
Pam

Hi Sue,
I do n;t like getting out of the pool after hydro.....you age a gain but in the water it's like loosing 10-15 years....
Hope things continue to improve!

Hi again David Yes - getting out of the pool is definitely the hardest part - the water is sooo lovely and hot but it's freezing cold in the change-rooms!! I have to say that getting in takes me longer physically, as my knees don't like the steps, even tho' they're very shallow. Coming out again my knees actually feel great, and the steps are much easier to manage......but by the time I've showered and dressed I've stiffened-up again and feel as "old" as I did when I started Hopefully it'll get easier with time..... Thanks for your good wishes, Sue
