I know black regular coffee is okay, but I am wondering about flavoured coffee. Has anyone had issues? The butterscotch smells so good. I would rely on the lable, but all the packages here are in Korean and my ablility isn't up to that level yet.

I am addicted again! :-( yet :-)

I don't know what the ***** they put in it, but it's not worth it. If I want flavored, I buy plain and put stuff I know is safe in it. I won't go near anything commercially flavored with "vanilla" or "butterscotch" or "mocha" etc. It either gives me a headache or flares me.

Even the flavored soymilks they put in some chai teas in those specialty coffeeshops can be full of crap.

A safer example. Plained brewed coffee and then add plain, real coconut milk without sulfites to it, and some honey. That tastes pretty good, and doesn't have CRAP in it. Or add real cream and a drop of vanilla. Did you know powdered vanilla flavorings can contain GLUTEN? Never, ever add "hazelnut" artificially flavored coffee creamer mixes to your coffee....who knows just what is really in that stuff.

Thanks,

I guess I will just have to be content with smelling the bags at the store (while people stare at me!)

I find the coconut milk goes bad quickly after opening the can, is there any way to make it last, so I can use just a spoonful a day?

yes, I've found that to be a nuisance too. Could try putting the coconut in ice cubes? I haven't trie that before... would have to heat it up before using it though.. wouldn't want luke warm coffee

Windy your coffee and coconut milk is the only way i whiten coffee as it works and is actually quite nice. It can be sweetened with honey of course. I also mix cocoa with coconut cream (Ayam brand) and add a little water then mix well, then add hot water and honey to taste. Some people may react to cocoa, but i find it a most welcome change from weak black/green teas. I think cocoa has more amylopectin, which i can digest.

I don't understand coconut milk going bad!!!
I just refrigerate it, but i do use it within 3-4 days...
Coconut cream may be better - just terms defining how much water has been added. The more water added the more chance that thickeners have also been added...
