If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Hello everyone! Many here seem to agree that healing the gut is very imoportant in recovering from AS. When investigatingt the "leaky gut" problem I came across this website that explains how supplementing with enzymes can be very effective in healing a leaky gut: Enzymstuff - Leaky gut Have anybody tried supplementing with enzymes and if so what's your experience? Those of you who are actively trying to heal your leaky gut, what is your methods for doing this other than being on the NSD?

Hi - I have been NSD since september 2006, and following a candida diet since March 2007. In addition to NO starches, I don't eat dairy, sugar, including fruit, and alcohol. I take a variety of supplements, anti-fungals and probiotics. Basicly I eat meats, oils (coconut, olive, butter), vegetables and eggs. I was hoping my candida would be in control by now, but its taking quite a long time. If I begin to eat too much dairy or fruit again, my candida symptoms come back, (so I know it is working) and I get strick again. Here is the website for the candida support group: http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/candidasupport/They also have an article you my be interested in, on Leaky Guy Theory: http://f1.grp.yahoofs.com/v1/YBmpRgCC2IP...20Be%20True.htm

Hi Sverige,
Yes some of us have. Try a search on Bromelain and papain. I think that Zark has the most experience with this method. Look what he has written, also in the alternatives forum. In my own observations enzymes really can help but it is difficult to maintain the progression that takes place in the first weeks. You can also incorporate some fruits like ananas or papaya regularly in your food scheme.
Best wishes,
Gerard

I've just started supplementing with enzymes this week. I havfen't noticed any changes yet, but I'll be eager to hear about others' experiences.
It sounds to me as if they are quite cheap and probably can't hurt you, so I was game to give it a try.

There is a book in the states in the Alternative Medicine series specifically for Enzymes and health. Not sure if over in Europe.
Recall past posts for WobeEnzymes (not sure if I spelled that correctly), I believe they are out of Germany.
I do take digestive enzymes from time to time, but nothing for pain control.
