If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Hey Oak girl,
Will help you the best I can.
What is your log in name: Dotyisle What has caused you the most pain: SI (Hip) pain... mostly right hip, but also left hip at times. Was not able to sleep at times due to the pain and walking was difficult. It would take me 10-15 minutes to roll out of bed on to the floor and go to shower on hands/knees.
How long have you had AS: 1995 to present
Where did you start to fuse first: Left SI (hip)
How old were you when you first started getting symptoms: I was 26 years old

Hello, Oakleaf's daughter!
I haven't been officially diagnosed with AS yet, but have been diagnosed with sacroiliitis, Primary Biliary Cirrhosis [an auto-immune liver disease], and chronic iritis. Oh yeah, I am HLA-B27+ and RF+ as well. Just extra info, if you don't need it, just toss it
What is your log in name:
Squeaky
What has caused you the most pain:
iritis and worrying about the conditions!
How long have you had AS:
first contacts with docs regarding AS, July 2006
Where did you start to fuse first:
no fusion yet, and I don't plan on it I am on a No-Starch Diet [since Sept 06] and have alleviated most of my symptoms with this diet, so am hoping I have stopped the progression therefore I shouldn't fuse.
How old were you when you first started getting symptoms:
July 2006, I was 39, and my iritis symptoms caused me to see my GP. He sent me for bloodwork, and then to a rheumy, and an opthamologist, and a gastroenterologist [sorry for any spelling errors]. Looking back over my history, I first noticed gut symptoms in my early teens [no explanation from docs], first had hip/SI joint pain late 20s, first iritis when I was 37, smouldered for almost 2 years before becoming acute, and that is when my iritis/AS internet research began and I found KickAs.
Good luck on your paper. Please give your Dad an extra hug and squeeze for me.
Cheers,
Rita
James, 12, Adrian, 10, Elisabeth, 3, my babies!

Where did you start to fuse first:
Both hips at the same time. (17 years old)

HLA-B27+, JRA diagnosis in 1981, re-diagnosed as AS in 1988. Also iritis, colitis, and psoriasis. NSD + low carb helps me. My health makes it hard for me to post in a timely way.
