All,

Yesterday was really tough on us all. It was the first time forever that my entire family---all of my siblings were together for the first time without Greg. It was really sad for all of us and Mom. Toni is taking this really hard so it was really rough on all of us!

Today, the pain got worse. Greg's best friend in the world, for over 30 years, the "you didn't see one without the other" best friend, passed away. Apparently he was sick during the last week and would not go to the doctor. Rex was admitted to the hospital early this morning and died around 3:00pm. He apparently had pneumonia and despite what the doctors did, his body just shut down and he was removed from the ventilator around 3:30pm this afternoon.

This was another huge blow for our entire family, immediate and extended. Rex was considered one of us...he was my "Nuther Bruther". He left behind his wife, Nan, his adult sons Adam, Kelly and Mark, an adult daughter, Lynn, and his 10 year old son Austin Gregory, named after my brother. Nan and the children were still grieving for Greg and now they have lost Rex.

We all need your thoughts, prayers, white light and fairy dust for a few more days, please.

Kiss and hug your babies, your brothers, sisters, moms, dads, grandparents, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends in memory of Greg and Rex!! Life is fleeting and fickle and we never know when we might not get the opportunity to appreciate our loved ones.

Thank you all for your kind words! You have NO idea how very much KA has helped me in the last few days!!

Thank you!!
Holly

Holly,
you are so very right about appreciating all those who we care deeply about and vice versa. While each of us bear up under our daily struggles which all seem much more insignificant after reading your post tonight we must not forget the lord will never give us more than we can handle.
lets try as best we're able to find a 'positve' looking past your tragedy. It certainly serves the purpose of helping us to deeply appreciate each and every blessing we're given. And to learn to try our best to use each breath to its maximum potential for good. i'm sending you every hug, prayer, white light and all the fairy dust I can muster to you and all yours.
Hoping you can rest tonight and be as beautiful as I know you are for everyone who needs you more tommorow than ever!
Much Hugs and Love to you tonight, Russ

Our prayers are with you and your family. Your Brother is at PEACE now. Just think? He now knows the mysteries of the universe and is having a lot more fun than being sick from the cancer.
I will share a story with you and will make it short. I have a friend at work who is a total hill billy and would never come up with a story like this. A couple of years ago he had a heart attack at the age of 45 and while in intensive care he actually passed away twice and the medical staff where able to bring him back. Well Arlan (Hence the name) said that he saw the light and felt totally at peace. He also said that he talked with his wifes father, who passed away long before he met his wife. What her deceased father said to Arlan was something that he would never had known. Arlan said that he became angry when they brought him back, because of the feeling of the here after. I'll stop now, but Arlan is not capable of coming up with a story like that, nor would he tell anyone if it hadn't really happened. Arlan will not tell anyone what his wife's father said to him.

God Bless

My condolences on the loss of your brother.

Kind Regards,
