I'm glad he's doing better! Of course kids will be kids. I never rested as long as I should have. Sometimes I think I pay for it, but sometimes it was worth not listening (in my opinion of course, and at that moment in time).
I'm not surprised the other girl is back at work. Sometimes you just keep on trucking, no matter what gets thrown in your way. Hopefully she just doesn't over do it too much!

Hey Pam,

Did not read all the replies, but did read a few. Sorry to hear about Noah... but as a few others stated, impress upon him how important it is to heal the injury. I was once the "indestructable" young man and thought that of my body. I would work and play through injuries.... caused me a lot of problems later with AS making it much worse in a few joints I believe where I had had injuries and did not allow them to heal.

Best wishes to you and Noah that all turns out well.

Tim

I can't believe I didn't notice this earlier. I hope Noah is feeling better. I was going to go skiing last Saturday, but during the week I got a little frostbite on a couple of toes. I decided I had better wait. Instead I went and got some new shoes. The snow here in Utah is the best it has been in many years. Both of my son's have season passes. I need to get a date set for the Utah AS ski party. I hope you have calmed down also.

Hi Molly,

Thanks for the information. I will do some checking on that as well. I am not sure if they do the injections here in the US either. I have gotten him on B vitamins daily. Not sure if that helps as well, but cant' hurt I suppose.

Take care,
Pam

He says he is going up there tomorrow. So we will see how his first day back goes.

Hi Tim,

He is going back to work tomorrow. He SAYS he will take it easy. I am hoping that he will.

There are days I wish I could just hold him back and tell him no. Its hard when they grow up

Take care,
Pam

Hi Steve,

Ouch frostbite?? Time to get some toe-warmers! Noah is walking around better today. Not sure how much better or if he would really even tell me.

The snow has been good up here this season as well. They are usually closed two days a week, but decided to extend the Holiday open 7 days a week thing until mid February at least.
Noah is stressing over who will take over his college classes, so I am sure he will be up there tomorrow no matter what
I just hope he decides not to do the comps this weekend.

Take care,
Pam

Pam - Check out this: http://www.thestretchinghandbook.com/archives/ankle-injuries-pt1.php

From the Stretching and Sports Medecine site - very sound site, good info. 'When' I have the reddies will be ordering up their stretching package. But this is all on ankle injuries, and rehabbing the ankle! Worth checking through.

Hope the boyo 'listens' to ya maam - ankles are notorious to heal back to *strength...

Pam, I cannot believe I missed this post completely! I'm so glad Noah is OK and on the road to recovery. I'm sure your heart, however, took a while longer to calm down than he did!! You poor thing. How did his friend break her pelvis? All she did was go check on him!!!!??

Many hugs,

Kat
