All my sympathies to you and your family Dorrit. From his posts here we always could see what a wonderful man he was and his posts always seemed to wind back to mentioning you.

I am saddened to hear of your loss.

My prayers to you.

Dorrit,

Just yesterday, I was thinking that I had not seen George posting on the site in a long time. We will all miss him. He helped make the AS site what it is today. I hope the rest of the family is doing OK.

Thanks for everything George.

Dorrit, I'm so sorry to hear about George. He was a great guy and I loved meeting him and you when Pete and I came over from the Island. I'll miss him a lot.

My dearst Dorrit

Im in tears, (will be for a while) I knew he hadn't been on for a while, as I've also be AWOL But I'd know idea! He was such a dear man to me, my Old prince charming I used to joke, He helped me so SO much when my Father died in 2006,he encouraged me to talk of him, and I wrote a poem, about him with Georges encouragement. He told me also about his father and he'd died and how he wished he could put that into words, I really hope and pray that his "Old POP" has him in his bestest bearhug right now. He was always so level headed with us, and me too, when I was scared and worried he'd always always popped by for a chat with me. Oh Dorrit, my heart is aching turely aching, His words meant so much to me in those early days after my Dad died, he always would make sure I was checking in and chatting, Keeping his eye on me.

Godbless him, he was a good good pal. A fine Man.

LOve to you Dorrit and the family.

Laura xxx

I know, hon. I'm pretty heart-sore myself today.

I kept looking forward to the day when I would make it out to BC and George and I could sit down face to face for a good long while. Sometimes, the 'looking forward' takes too long and then you've missed your opportunity.

Many many hugs,

Kat

Hi Kat

I'm having to hide out at the computer so Harris doesn't see my eyes. Such sad news,. One of these days a million years from here we'll all sit on that beautiful Veranda together, have a big hug and the bestest party of all, and the peace will be a fine thing. I truly hope he's at peace, and I've every faith that my Dad will pop by introduce himself and thank him from the bottom of his heart for keeping his eye out for "his" little girl,

Big Hugs Kat, I'm going to go Light a candle for me "olepal"

Take it easy, sending white light back across to you. xxxx Laura
