If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

So far I have only heard of one person (luigi) who has done it with great results. The Montana mine had some people report back some very mixed results.
I am considering going in the next year. Anyone else have any success stories to report?

My husband went to the mines in montana a few years ago. It was during a very bad fire season in colorado. He went for his lungs. He said it didn't really help but it didn't hurt either. However, I remember his breathing was much better than everyone elses after all the fires. I asked about it again after reading your post. He says he remembers sitting with arthritics who went their every year. He also said bring your own entertainment. The mine is in a small town and there wasn't much to do. If you do it good luck and let me know how it goes. Maybe I'll try it.

As well as H20girl (Pam). I went in June of this year. Prior to the visit, I was a consistent 7-9, on high levels of NSAIDs. Immediately following the mines, I dropped to 2-4 with the occasional 5 when I take a little ibuprofen. In fact, I haven't even been on kickas in quite some time. I plan to go as soon as it flares again - which, according to their experience, is about 12 months between visits.
I was blown away by it's effectiveness.

I'm hoping to go to Montana as soon as my semester is over, probably the second week in May. Any specific recommendations as to what to pursue while there/accomodations?

I stayed at Boulder Hotsprings - it is pricey, but included amazing breakfasts, outdoor hotsprings, and indoor hot and cold plunge pools. Pat, from the mine, rents out a trailer right at the mine for a very reasonable rate, as well as a few motel rooms in town (they include kitchenettes). All I can say is bring a laptop, movies, and lots of books!!! Good luck, and keep us all posted.

@ Megan If I remember right, you initially weren't seeing the results you had hoped for. Did that change later on or was it just ineffective for you? I think you were trying to go on biologics @ that point too? But about that time is the last time I was on here until yesterday...

I had been on enbrel for over 3 years by the time I went there, but I don't think the radon did anything for me AS-wise. I was also on prednisone while I was there.
The effects of enbrel really started wearing off at about the 2 year mark, so I was hoping radon would be my next miracle treatment. No such luck. But I still keep thinking about trying radon palace in the czech rep one day. I would like to try it again, still.
PS Boulder Hotsprings Inn will make guests fantastic starch-free organic breakfasts! Worth going back just for those!

Checking back I see I was confusing Enbrel with your attempts (at that time) to get on Remicade.
