I like your tattoo Gardengirl. And using pot is a great idea!
Have you ever tried to do some Yoga in the morning right after waking up - before breakfast!
I can only recommend it. I practice Kundalini Yoga. Very helpful.
Good luck!

Yoga hurts wayyy too bad, tai chi works a bit better for me. Walking is ok too when it's not raining every! single! day! (it's rained every day but 6 since memorial day!)

Yeah I love that tattoo! Means so much to me!

Less chance of cancer.... but you will be knocked on your backside if you're not careful. It also takes a lot of MJ to make baked goods... right? I think I would prefer smoking a small amount of high quality stuff through a water bong or something.

Actually, you can make THC oil by using any quality of marijuana. In other words, you can buy some low quality pot and make the same THC oil you would get from high quality expensive stuff. This oil can be used in a wide variety of food recipies, from desserts to chicken teriaki.

Making the THC oil is easy, just do a google search.

How many of these threads are there? lol

I still haven't managed to get a prescription but I'm chomping at the bit at this point.

Recently it occurred to me that my diseases may have come upon me so suddenly because of my history with smoking weed? Prior to joining the military, I smoked tons and tons of weed, I think I must have been constantly high for almost fifteen years and got a College Diploma and a University Degree while completely baked out of my mind.

Then I decided to become a Naval Officer and gave it up over-night. About seven years later I got hit by the speeding train of both Ulcerative Colitis and AS.

I wonder if my use of marijuana may have held the diseases at bay for many years and they only reared their ugly heads when I stopped smoking it?

Might my problems go away again if I started to smoke dope again?

Or is this just the ghostly voice of my once-beloved Bong calling out to me from a dusty box in the attic?

I intend to find out soon.

I firmly believe that my moms health problems are from that! She smoked basically every day from age 15 to 40 when she decided for no good reason to stop. Within a year she was having tons of problems. Still almost 15 years later she's still not well. My sister, father and I have all asked her to quit the drugs the drs have given her and just start smoking again, but sadly the drs have her brainwashed. Not against pot, but against trying anything but the hard drugs they have her on.

And not to get into too many details it' mental health problems, not physical. She also worked for the dept of mental health with people with severe schizophrenia who said the only thing that helped them with the fear/paranoia and voices in their heads was smoking pot. They all swear it works better then the anti-psychotics they're on. She said people with depression and anxiety also got help from it too. Of course she said there was a fine line because it helped some and hurt others. I guess it's just like any other medication you try.

But yes it may help you feel better. Let us know how your reunion goes!

I have smoked both recreationally and medicinally (self rescribed =D) and find it does help to refocus my mind away from the pain. if you have problems with smoking the whole herb I would suggest making cannabutter and making some flourless brownies with it. it would be worth mentioning that you can make excellent cannabutter just with the cabbage leaves of the plant (the shade and drop leaves, not the buds) and if you know somebody who grows it is fairly easy to procure a lot quite cheaply, as they don't have much use for it.
