Arjan,

Thanks for taking the time to respond to my questions. I'm definitely a supporter of practices that can relax and harmonize the body (e.g. qi gong, restorative yoga, meditation, etc.). Congratulations again on your triumph!

All the best,

Freddie

Well hello again - glad to hear you are doing so well. Have you started to eat lots of starch again, and if so, for how long?

hi bilko, long time!!

i eat daily starch in normal quantities since december, even had some pure vegetarian days followed by normal starchy days. Apart from incidental acid-reflux (never had that on NSD) .. no symptoms Found out that Combining starch with Fats causes the acid reflux.

Wish you all the best

more or less flare-free for about 5-6 years (excluding a minor flare about 3 years ago when i tried one spoon of rice daily, to test if I still needed the diet)

Im really pleased for you and hope it continues.
However I would doubt you are cured there is no actual cure for AS.The symptoms can be treated by different methods and it does go into periods of remission but thats not a cure.
Like I say Im not knocking it its great and long may you continue to be well.
Regards Kevin

Hi Arjan! Which probiotics did you try? I have read that different probiotics cause different immune responces. Some make allergies worse, some make them better. I consider AS being an allergy to klebs. It would be really interesting to hear which ones made it worse for you. Thanks for sharing.

Fantastic!

Probiotics set me off too! And yes, anything that irritates the gut sets me off, not just starch but starch is the worst, worst, worst!!!! Well, citric acid is really bad too.

Thanks for sharing your formula. I love to use Jin Shin Jyutsu on myself. Very, very easy. It's in the book called "The Touch of Healing" by Alice Burmeister. when I was really underweight, I gained my first two pounds holding points for weight balance.

hi guys, i'm studying acupuncture now and stumbled upon this research. Haven't tried this myself as i'm already cured but its possibly a more scientific explanation on why my chikung regimen has been so effective. So possibly this adds a treatment option for those unable to find a chikung teacher ..

wishing everybody a clear mind in finding their personal cure smile
