I just wanted to say thank you for all the replys and help I have been getting from everyone here..

Anyway I found out something interesting. Yesterday my girlfriend and I were at the store just looking at ingredents in food. I told her I needed more motrin because I was in pain (Still) well for some reason I looked at the ingredients of Motrin (I was taking 800 Mg two times a day) and low and behold...STARCH !!!

I bought Aleve instead and when I got home I tested both, the Aleve had no starch and the motrin turned black as night !!!

Also yesterday some friends went out for pizza, so I wanted to test myself....I had 2 pieces, but no motrin...only aleve.

I woke up this morning with the same foot pain, and hand pain but no night sweats and no stiffness !!! I could even get my own socks out of the bottom drawer !!

So I am staying on my NSD (Thank you all with the help wtth that) and I am never takiing motrin again !!!

So word of warning, If you have AS and take motrin don't do it!!....it is full of starch...No wonder I have still been in alot of pain after my one month of NSD...I was accidentally taking starch every day in pill form !!!

Yep. You find it in all sorts of places. Dang sneaky starch.

Glad you thought to check. Just remember to double check if a doc prescribes you anything that it is available in a starch free form. And triple check at the pharmacy. I have just learnt that lesson the hard way...

I have been avoiding anti-inflammatories like the plague.... (am planning to post soon about other things I have done to manage the pain)....

-but fyi, gel caps are generally starch free (but still test!)

My yum: celery/avocado/spinach/kale/arugula/chard/lettuce/kombu/nori/all microgreens(but I avoid sprouts)/all meats/bone broths/all fish/eggs/ oils: hazelnut oil/coconut oil /pecan oil /olive oil/walnut oil/pecan oil/pumpkin oil/avocado oil /ghee/nut butters: hazelnut/brazil nut/skinless marcona almond/tahini/coconut flour/coconut kefir/homemade 72 hour goats milk yogurt/umeboshi paste/thyme/grey sea salt/Garlic infused oils/
Fruit: berries, cherries, plums, nectarines, peaches
