Good to meet you Christine, in the motorcycle picture of your Dad he looks like one of the 800 Bandidos Outlaw Motorcycle Gang we had in Moab this last year. He is a stud.

Well Christine..........errrrr.........how to begin.............well you see, you know you are adopted don't you???

You are far too nice to be your Dad's daughter, well everyone is too nice to be your Dad's daughter.....Ok so I am telling lies, he is quite a nice chap but he is from the South you know!!! Oh I guess that means you are a southener too? Well I love southeners.!

I don't want to say too many nice things about your Dad here, as people will think I have gone soft, but yes a great man for the site, am sorry thatyou too are lurking on the fringes of AS, you know first hand what it is like. My dose though is 74 times worse than your Dad's!!! it is so unfair because I am years and years younger than him........

So nice to meet you, Christine! I think you are very wise to come here to get understanding and also support for you too I hope. I have a mom who is very often ill, though not with AS, so I really understand how you feel.
Take care and hi to your dad!
Jan

Your dad is a great guy, he has given me advise before (since i am still new to this.) It is good to see family on here trying to understand AS. It is difficult to understand something you are not going through. Knowing about it and what others go through will help you understand your dads condition. I am glad he has a loving daughter to be there for him when he needs it.
