I totally agree. I am being calm & am very good at being patient, I never try to talk to him when he's like this, is better to just cruise along with it until he comes around. He's not getting any better yet, he was up early this morning leaving all the kitchen cupboards open again & those he did close he slammed. he took off in the car so not sure where he's gone - maybe to get himself help (here's hoping). It took him up to 5 weeks once (a few years ago) to finally start talking. I'll be very careful how I talk to him, I always try to understand what he's going through & where he's coming from. Will hang in there

I do have to say what an awesome person you are, alot of people wouldn't put up with it.

I hope in time he will listen to you maybe get on here for some support.

I disagree with the Dr. big time about the pain meds..there are alot of in betweens with the codene and the morphine.

There are Tylenol-3's, Tramadol, Oxycontins, Nurontin..help me out guys there are so many more Fentanyl Patches, Lidocane Patches, steroid shots.

I think first thing is he needs to find a Dr. that will be an advocate for him and work with him. He also needs a psych Dr. he needs to be on depression meds and there is nothing wrong with that..I am on Cymbalta, Clonazepam & Gabitril alot of times it take a combo or a cocktail and it usually takes time tryng to figure out what will help and the dosage.

Im so glad you found us, stick around for support, hopefully you can convince him to get on here also.
