Man I'm hurting still got the nodular in my eye its been over a week. Stupid insurance denided my humira so the flaring is getting worse each day. Finally doc gave me some loratabs but they don't seem to touch the pain feels like someone beat me with a metal pole over and over! But found out today Doctor jumped threw all the hoops the [**BLEEP**] insurance wanted so now I'll get my humira but its got to go threw a mail order pharmacy so who knows how long thats gonna take. Right now i wish everybody on the board at the insurance company had AS then maybe they would understand the pain! well thats about it with my rant. Were heading to a Rose show in Dallas winning queen might help ease the pain. But its gonna be a painful drive. Hope all my As Friends are feeling a lot better than me! You all take care.

Good luck with the roses and let us know-k!
So sorry you are in so much pain. And you are right, we definately need more support from ins. companies regarding AS. They and some docs just don't get it!
My daughter gets her injections thru mail order also and once you get established, they are really expedient. So hang in buddy and good luck on the shots.
Will keep you close in thought! LOL

The mail order places are usually fast since they need to ship it overnight. Also, you may want to ask them if they work with any foundations. A large chunk of my co-pay is paid by the manufacturer's foundation.

Humira has a program for those who cannot afford it and insurance doesn't cover it or even cover it well....try looking up myhumira. Let me know if you can't find what I am talking about. I will try to help you further.

Hello all and thanks for the responses and sorry took so long to post again. Got back late from Dallas and up to drive out of town to work for the week. But Dallas was a good trip lots of pain driving there and back but the roses we took were good We won King in the mini division and king in the miniFlora division. King is the second best in the show my okc buddy won queen in both which is first. but we took the sweepstakes in both which is the most blue ribbons in each division. Texas might have shown us how to play football but us okies showed them how to grow and show roses. Took my Humira shot last night and all is well so far. Packing and heading to the deer woods for this weekend. let you all no when i get back.
