If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

My heart goes out to the little girl and her family that has H1N1,or anyone that has lost someone to H1N1.It is very scarey to see anyone you love go thru this.My prayers are with her for a full recovery.

Hi Michele,
"Betting the Bank" you don't get the seasonal flu has some risk, but doing the same against the Swine Flu, which is a new flu with no existing immunity in the population to stop it spreading, is a much riskier bet.

Got it three weeks ago (I think it was that long ago - see my other post).
No problems.
Also heard on the news that preferably the vaccine would have been mixed into the normal seasonal flu shot - so it is just the same as usual.
No side effects, and now feel much more confident going into crowds.

If all the reports of symptoms are correct... then I probably have it right now. I've battled this illness with high doses of vitamin C, vitamin D and rest and water. Plus other supplements for immune boosting. So far, only one child got it at the same time (she's immuno compromised too) and everyone else in the family is fine. I'm on day 9 or so and not quite so grumpy today. I have read that the regular seasonal flu is potentially just as deadly, maybe more, as this 'new h1n1' (which has been touted as being often a 'mild flu'). http://online.wsj.com/article/SB124217724145913411.htmlUntil it is proven to me that vaccinations really work more than they harm, we do not participate. I've seen too much damage as a result from vaxes. Thankfully, I still have that right to choose!

I am wondering if it safe myself! I have heard contradicting advice. Same with regular flu shots. I have not done that one either.

I got the flu shot two weeks ago and when the H1N1 it gets here I'll get it and I'll give it to my kids. I've seen way more damage from no vaccines than I've seen from vaccines.

I always get the regular flu shot each year, but am going to talk to my dr. tomorrow about whether I should get the H1N1 shot....guess it depends on whether it is a live virus or not...I heard that the nasal spray for H1N1 is a live virus. A couple of schools in my area have closed due to so many kids having H1N1. Scary.

Well after 2 weeks of phone calls all of this is a mute point. They are only giving out flu-mist for H1N1. Every place I call they think it will be another two weeks to get the injections. My family cannot get the flu-mist because if you read the flu-mist guide you cannot get it if you take care of infants, small children, people at home who are at risk like us. Flu-mist can give someone the flu up to 3 weeks after the immunization. I think most of us will have the flu before we can get the shot or have the 2 weks go by that it takes for the immunization to start working.

Billings just received 800 shots of the vaccine today. However it will go to healthy kids aged 2-18. I am still lower on the priority list.
sigh

To substantiate what I stated yesterday it is funny this report would go out today. See below:
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,568607,00.html
When my doctors offices are promising that the shot will be available in their office by the end of Oct. is the same time that the virus will be at it's peak. It will take another 2 weeks after that assuming you get a shot before your have some immunity.
Also see below the published pattern of H1N1:
