Hi Everyone,
Don't know how I have missed this site for all this time, only just came across you last week and have been reading through the various posts! V interesting reading especially in relation to the anti TNFs which I am about to start in next few weeks, I hope they work as good for me as they do for some of you without the side affects that some of you get!! Too much to hope for?? Hopefully not

All the best
Sham

PS Anyone else here from Ireland?

Not from Ireland but we are loosing a very GOOD Rheumatologist to Ireland in December. He helped diagnose me one year ago and he will be missed.
There are a few from Ireland but not on often.
Remicade has changed my life I hope TNF's work wonders for you.

Beth

Welcome Sham,

I hope you find the site as useful and supportive as I do. There may not be many Irish but there's a couple of hilarious old British geezers who should keep you chuckling - their names start with K and A. Watch out for them - they're not to be trusted.

It's a great place - have fun and learn lots.

Hi Sham
Welcome to KA..... My Dad is Irish so half my family is over there! They are mosty in the Clonmel - Tipperary area... Where are you? Good luck with the tnf's.... which one are you starting on?.. They didnt work out for me because of reactions/side effects but that is pretty rare... As far as AS goes they stopped it in its tracks very quickly.. (my crp went from over 40 to 0.4 in two weeks!!) Anyways good luck with it and hope it does the trick... Beir bua agus beannacht!

Welcome. We have a sweet friend in Scotland but I don't remember any from Ireland. From the pictures I have seen you live in a beautiful country.

Come back often.
