If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

That's disappointing Possi! I wonder why they improved and then worsened again. You'd think, if the shoes weren't going to help, they wouldn't help right from the get go. It would be helpful to understand what was happening so you could try and repeat the pain free day. I really wish they had worked for you. It seems worth the money if you get the benefit.

Yes, definitely worth the money if they worked. One thing is I was off my feet the rest of that day. I have been on my feet a lot since then running errands and trying to get Christmas taken care of and helping my daughter with wedding plans.
I see the Rheumie today. It will be interesting to see what he says. They didn't keep me awake as much last night because I rubbed them down with Icy Hot and put on a pair of hubby's socks at bedtime. They did hurt when I got up this a.m. I do think it is more than Plantar Facitis but I think that is part of it.
Hope you are still doing well off your pain meds.
Hugs. Possi

Time just gets away. I didn't realize it had been so long and I don't think my hubby will let me wait so long again. He sat me down and had a long talk about doing the things that I can to take care of myself. "Blush" I am bad about doing for everyone else but me.
Have a good day. Possi

My dear, he truly is a sweetheart. Sounds like something my own sweetie would do! I'm glad the shoes and orthotics help. It really is amazing how something so simple can make such a huge difference. Which reminds me. Time to get new orthotics for myself. Love and hugs,
Kat

what you said about being on your feet more, hope that's all it was,
i know for me, when something feels better, i use it too much and if it wasn't over the hump, it goes back downhill, and then i have to be careful to pace myself more,
hope it is just a temporary setback and the shoes really do make a difference,

Thank you all so much. I value each of you tremendously. Today my hubby and I spent all afternoon at the Rheumatologist's office. Maybe it isn't such a good thing to have our appts at the same time. :o) The dr. said my foot pain is all arthritis and not a lot we can do since I can't take the arthritis medications. Then we talked about some problems that I have been having and he got concerned about vasculitis again and said that maybe I feet would get better after all if we have no choice but to try one of the meds again. He said we are just weighing things to figure out where the best help and least problems come in.
I am afraid my pain is going to get worse because he sees the need to taper my Prednisone very slowly because of the intestinal and skin thinning. He said that is almost a necessity but will make my back and foot pain worse. Unless it is too late to heal my intestines and then the Pred dosage will go the other way.
Weird weird conversations we had today. :o) I don't know if I made any sense in my explanation. It is just that now he thinks the thing to do is decrease the Pred but it may end up that what we have to do is increase the Pred.
Hubby's MTX was increased again and he was put on a Pred taper. (I may get the tree up this week with him on Pred.!!) :o)
Thank you all for your encouragement and concern.
Hugs. Possi

Thanks, Possi. I am continuing to improve - sleeping better and less of the restless leg syndrome.
My RA gives me very sore toes (not plantar fasciitis, thank goodness) so I wonder whether it may be the RA affecting your feet?

Yes, the dr. told me a couple of days ago that it is the RA and that we are basically stuck because I can't take the meds that would help me. It is a bummer but it beats the severe reactions that I had to the different Biologics/TNF blockers.
I remember my Grandmother with her severe RA walking through the house so gingerly just quietly saying "Mercy" over and over. I understand it now. Then I just wanted to cry because I knew she hurt but no way could know the extent. That was before JRA hit me.
Hope all is well at your home.
Hugs. Possi
