If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Of note. Statins look to block IL 17 according to some research so a possible effect on AS is very interesting. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1798123/btw this was posted in the alt section already so I moved it up

No families take so little medicine as those of doctors, except those of apothecaries.

here's the link to that discussion: AS & Statins...an overlooked remedy? my question is: has anyone else ever developed edema from a statin? and did you then find another one did not cause this problem? i had that problem with zocor (simvastatin) but would like to try the statins again, both for my LDLs and now maybe even my arthritis.

Drizz - your posts always give me hope. Thanks for your efforts. I would like to see results on a larger sample though - only 15 patients were studied in this one.

Interesting. I am on Pravastatin for high Cholesterol for several years now. I have been losing quite a bit of weight and my blood pressure has been normal so for the last couple of months i have not taken my Pravastatin. Been trying to go easy on my stomach too from all these pills but my pain levels have increased dramatically over the last couple of months. I wonder if this is why. I am going to get back on it. I will keep everyone informed over the next month as to if this seems to improve my condition.
