Beloved,
I regret not being able to read all the posts and meeting all the new family members.
I have been having a tough time, but still quite active. I will try fasting and the apple diet again this Spring. I have been able to take only the Cymbalta for pain tolerance. But a few times I have had to go home from work due to exhaustion or pain. My heart gets uneven and irregular, which just wears me out. I have lots of joint pain and my chest and arms burn and are numb. I know some of you know all about it.
Lin keeps saying, "you are killing yourself".
But I am afraid to stop. You all know how that is..........
I am becoming quite involved in the Tea Party Movement and study of the Constitution. I have two son in laws that make a lot of money and are graduates of European Schools with masters degrees. They have a much different theory on spending and on government, than I do. I will have another radio interview soon, with the local radio station. I enjoy the rousing discussion. We live in a great country where we can express our opinions, even though I am now on the “presidential list”, I believe strongly in what I am doing, and who I am doing it for!
We have been active in working with felons who are trying to recover from addictive behavior! Lin and I had to get away for two days, because some adults just have no experience in taking care of their own lives, their health or keeping a job. One guy, who is 50, calls me Dad. Yea, I know it makes me feel old. But teaching adults that decisions have consequences is where a lot of work needs to be done in this society. I want to encourage all of you who are in pain, remember, tomorrow may not be better. So do what you can today. Us gimps have come to appreciate moments of less pain, moments of joy and pleasure. We can give of what we have learned so that others can live free of the bondage of poor choices.
I believe as our founding Fathers have said, “that our liberties are a gift from God”! No man has the right to take them from me. But out of love I will compromise willingly, at times for your best interest. It really is a great Declaration and Constitution that we have.
Well, I have done enough damage for now, I love you all, and pray for good health and blessings in every good way, to each of you.

Hi Lon its so nice to hear from you Im sorry your having a rough time I hope you get better soon. I know its a waste of time telling you but please take it easy I know you are a very dedicated man and love to help others but there are limits to how much you can do. Im sure God dosent expect you to kill your self he would be a very good man down on earth if that happend you are a one off Lon we couldnt find another you neither could all the people you help.

Wow Lon, that sounds like some terribly interesting work you are doing there. You sound a bit like a hippie protester...lol I will have to Google the Tea Party Society but it sounds like Democracy is in good hands with folks like you around, Lon. It also seems clear that your passion was passed onto your sons...sounds like holidays would be fascinating around your table.

I'm hoping to get to a point where I can help others get disability and win their rights from Veteran's Affairs as a sort of advocate. This whole, sitting around waiting for death thing gets real old, real fast.

It is good to talk again.
The sun is out, the snow is melting fast and I love it. But more snow on the way... I tried to get an old snow blower to run, but my fingers are often numb and I could not feel the small metal screws... lol Nothing like the smell of gas....
Thanks Kevin, you are right about Lin, I am warming up her car in the mornings, trying to do the meals at night..

Hi. I did read your posted - Poem. But I was a bit meloncholy to respond. My wife needs me to be strong right now, and it seems that the Creator is givng it to me as I need it. I do enjoy a rousing discussion about the political future of things. But not too much into name calling. But I did hear an old gal who listened to Hitler as a child, wow, she has some things to say..

I prefer the coffee party (look it up) to the tea party; more productive and less angry and divisive. But gee I hope this site doesn't start getting political. First the NSDers and now the tea party; what's next, the birthers? I'll retire to bedlam. How about AS talk on an AS website?

Here's hoping our duly and democratically elected president will be respected here regardless of where we are on the political spectrum; just the fact that you mention Hitler, Lon, in conjunction with the tea party and their history of holding up posters of United States President Barack Obama made to look like Hitler bothers me greatly. I know you are a god-loving, god-fearing man, so I trust that you will refrain from such wrong-headed expressions yourself.

Lon, dear friend, I have missed you and your great words of wisdom and comfort. I applaude you and all you do. I have been saying for months now that I need a copy of the constitution so I can study it more closely as you have been doing. I hope you will pop in more. I finally got a used laptop so I can sit in my recliner and spend a bit more time here.
You love what you are doing, that's what makes you so good at it. Don't stop, but you should slow a bit, pace yourself. Lin is right, you're killing yourself.
