I can't have anything with codeine in it now.

Doctor is ringing the rhuematologist first thing Monday morning and hopefully I get straight in and then take it from there.

That's tough - I've been very glad to have oxy available when I need it.

Don't worry about moping - where else can you do it if not here. We all understand what you're going through.

I am so sorry that you had to go through this. I know that you will be in pain until they find something that you can take that you won't react to. I pray that they will find something soon.

Hi Donna,
Thanks for the prayers. I dare say I am not going to do too well the next couple of days but fingers crossed anyway.

I was just realy scared. Particularly last night.
And damm hubby didnt care he wanted to finish his dinner before taking me to the ER. I cracked and said I need to go now and all he did was winge that he "only"waned to eat his dinner first. grrr

Anyway, made him talk to the doctor today and I think he realises how dangerous it actualy was.

Thanks again.

Hey Aussiegirl, when i first read your post the first thing that came to mind is you are having an allergic reaction. And i know what you mean when the pain pills are not helping only taking the edge off. It Sucks!!! Don't worry about complaining i do it all the time and that is why we are here for each other, i feel better already cause i was able to tell someone that these diseases that we have SUCK!!! I was put on a new muscle relaxer that has me in a fog along with my lyrica and this stupid sinus infection and i can't really focus right now so if i don't make sense i apologize now.

I am sorry you will not have any pain relief are you able to call your docs exchange and possibly get something eles called in to a pharmacy. I take vicoprofen for the pain and inflammation. I have been on it for yrs and discussed taking other meds with my pain mang doc thinking i am building a intolerance to them cause i have to take so much and he agreed and said we may have to switch till i get my hip situation fixed, but the fool wrote out my scripts for my usual med. Doctors get on my nerves sometimes.
