If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Hi Tink,
The easiest way to send someone a PM in this new version of KA is to find a place where they have already made a post. Once there, just LEFT click on the person's KA name wherever it is in color and underlined, such as in the area next to (or, depending on your settings, right above) every post taht person has made in a thread.
When you do that, a pull-down menu will appear giving you several options, including "View Profile," so you can learn a bit more about a person, and, of course, "Send a PM." Slide your cursor down and left-click on that "Send a PM," and voila, you're ready to write your PM. As you'll see, if you do it that way, you don't even have to type the person's name in the "To" field--that happens automatically.
In addition to that easy method, you can also send a PM from the screen you see when you click on your Mail icon (when you have new mail) or the word Messages underneath the 'My Stuff' link at the top of every page. Once on the Messages page, you should see a link titled "New Private Message" at the top left, immediately above the first message in your mailbox. Again, it is possible there are slightly different page layout options, so if you don't see it there, just scan your Messages main page for the link "New Private Message." The only thing different about creating the PM in that way is that you'll have to type in the recipient's name in the "To" field, as it won't be automatically filled in.
Hope that all made sense and helps you out--let me know if, instead, it was clear as mud!
Brad

HURRAY!!!!!!!! Happy days... Two reasons to celebrate. The fact that they mention LSD and the fact that they mentioned KickAS.

Tink - I'll try to sort something out in terms of electronic versions, it may just take a little while to get access to a working scanner. But I'll see what I can do!

The most important thing is KickAS being on the literature, Darryn!
Mentioning LSD or NSD on the label does not tell someone what the diets are or how to do them. I view them as the same diet, they are just being strict and eliminating all starch or just reducing starch. Some people stick to one or the other and some a mixture of both.
What we need is people finding their way to KickAS so they can find information and support on whatever way they choose to fight their AS.
They can go down the diet route if they like, they can go down the drugs route or they can just get all the help and support they need to deal with AS and all it's associated problems.
The amazing thing about this is - that people being diagnosed by doctors and told that AS in incurrable need a life-line - and finding this site gives them the best possible chance of winning with the disease.
You must be able to see this? Try and keep positive, Darryn. We need to celebrate progress like this (however small it may seem to you). You can't change the world overnight! Be patient and remember:
This site is first and foremost a SUPPORT group! Negative comments on a post like this are NOT supportive!

Oh Brad, I feel terrible about this... I've got the PM'ing thing covered - I was keen to find out how to send a link to this particular thread on a PM. I don't know well Seb knows his way around the site - I've never seen him anywhere but on the post he started in the diet section! Hopefully he's found it by now! So sorry you went to all that time and trouble to help me for nothing.

Hello Roogy That would be great! Thank you. Do they have any contact information on the label? I am quite interesting in phoning them up. Only if you have time! Thanks, so much
