Did anyone see the mention of AS on House last night. What a misrepresentation. I almost split a gut laughing when they said the woman who was dying had AS, and they were to start treatment of sulphasalazine to cure her. She had no back pain, no joint pain, nothing like the AS we all know and hate. My Lovely Wife had to calm me down and pause the show so I could recover and didn't have to watch the rest of it though my laughter.

And no, House is not supposed to be a comedy.

I am glad I was not the only one, I had to go back two or three times and watch the diagnosis part. House lost some of his mystique last night.

Well, I saw it too and just couldn't believe how AS was misrepresented either. I have always been a big fan of House but I was a bit pieved last night.'

Missed...probably a good thing. I've never seen the show. Always heard such good things. Might not have been the best first impression.
And some people take those shows seriously! wink
Yikes...
Good thing we can laugh. We're laughing right?

She was having sex with her hubby 3 times a week, had a lover and could lie there in that bed for days. I couldn't lie in a bed all of one day. I was really disappointed. I used to be a fan of that program.

Hey Darrel,

I'm not sure House ever had much "mystique" laugh2 Heheh. But until last night, he was at least entertaining. Now, I think he needs to rethink his consultants.

Hey Cindy,

Yeah, who'd a thunk that all these folks on KickAS could still be here when AS is such a deadly disease. laugh2

Hey Alan, Good to hear from you. I should have known that you know Mr. Laurie on a first name basis. I heard him on an interview once, and was blown away by his British accent. I thought he was just faking it. But as the interview went on, he showed that he was just faking his US accent. He said it was easy. Hard to believe, after all, we don't have and accent in the US. laugh2
