a talk by William Li about too many blood vessels growing in the body and thus causing such things as cancer or arthritis. He goes on to explain that many vegetables act to control the excessive growth of blood vessels (the ones grown to repair damage to the body caused by aging, accident or exercise). He suggests that by eating more vegetables we are essentially starving the disease of what gives it life....too much blood flow.

Great video. Everyone should watch it as it might point some of us in a different direction...perhaps it's not just starch...but its really the vegetables (as eating a reduced starch diet did force me to eat more vegetables which resulted in less inflammation....which was proven by blood tests in my case).
