That comment is not something any of us would want to hear. Ouch!

I am so sorry about your friends. It is hard to lose them. It is harder on us than it is on them, their problems are over and they have only joy forever.

Oh Lon, I won't "crack" any jokes on that one blush
Just glad to hear from you, but I must say, I said OUCH, and laughed at the same time it was great. Your sence of humor in any circumstance is amazing to me. So sorry to hear about your friends. It's so said to think of anyone having to die alone.
Hugs to you
Cindy

Hey Lon, back in fine form, you are!

Can only add one comment, but you'd think it would be a lot more, with my vast experiences of being examined by many doctors, short, tall, foreign or domestic, educated or not so much, in that particular area of which you speak-

If you ever have a choice in the matter between a wimmen doctor or a man, pick the woman. The men are always like: "Hah, you think this needle hurts you, what about me, having to endure this vast panorama?"

And then just to show their macho-isity or something, they turn the whole event into some sort of brutal rite of passage, showing not the slightest amount of gentleness, even "unnecessary force".... to which we are expected to not exhibit even the slightest amount of discomfort, beyond biting onto that bullet if we are lucky enough to get one, for fear of being shunned by the leaders of the tribe....

The wimmen, however, they don't care about any of that nonsense! (thankfully)

Lon

I had a doctor try to stick a needle in L4 or L5 one time and kept hitting the bone. After several tries and me yelling, he had to get another dr. in to do it. The second dr. walked in and did it and walked out in 30 seconds. The other dr. wasn't new, just having a rough time of it.

It really worked well for me, I hope it works well for you.

Don't listen to Dow...some of those women have a sadistic streak in them and can't wait to stick a needle in you. If you make a fuss they look at you like you are a big baby. They don't like your jokes or think you are funny.

Just because you may start feeling better doesn't mean you should start doing summersaults around the yard or going up on the roof to fix a loose shingle. laugh

Sorry to hear about your friends passing...please take care of yourself.

I can not defeat you but I will not let you win

I had one of those wimmen do an exam on me, just like Jeffery said

Her name was Olga, I think from Russia

and she said:

"All men are such wimps!! Just like my husband!"

Ha ha!

And you are right, she didn't laugh at any of my jokes. So I killed her.

(Or maybe not, I think the next thing that happened was that I fainted sick1 )

Lon, you had me laughing my bu_ _ off!!! The visual you painted is hilarious. First burning chest hair, now this. Big bum and hairy chest. You're quite the man, Lon. Lin is going to wonder how all these wimmen know these things about you. laugh2

Needle the size of an exhaust pipe. lol OUCH!

I am very sorry to hear that you've lost not one but two friends recently... that is so saddening to hear.

How you can make us laugh and cry for you Lon...

Many hugs to you and Lin.
