If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Depends on the day, truth be told. Some days, it's the gift that brought me so many good things. Other days, it's the Spondy Monster. And on still other days, well, I'll go with Dow's acronym!!! Interesting question, oh great Wizard of Loz! Love and hugs,
Kat

Hey Loz My body has been taken over by aliens and to control me there is a force field holding me down. Some days I try harder to get free and they just put the squeeze on me. This explains bad days. So no matter how I look at it, there is a monster in me because I feel like one on a bad day. shshshsh... I say this with a wisper so they won't hear me and cause all kinds of pain. Ray

Ah so I have you and Mig are doppleganging up on AS along with me.
I like the notion of the doppleganger as you said because it is this spectral image of me that walks about along with me. Yet it is just that a rather fiendish image. Even if you didn't know the word it just sounds plain creepy and well on certain days AS is just pain creepy.
But it is just a ghost, a spectre and not really me. If I choose to ignore it I can banish it with a wave of my constitution and AS beggone to the power of my will, such as it is some days.
I also like the notion that when the doppeganger is out and about to be seen it is a foreboding omen of illness (clearly with AS ) or even death. Not that As is kiling me or anyone else but it certainly causes little deaths in inches. When I'm feeling mealancholy it is a reminder that AS stole my childhood earlier than need be and has kicked a body part or two into submission.
BUt as you said it is a part of me different from me and the same as me and I never want to forget that, seems to help me cope for some reason or other. Or maybe that's just the martinis. Atren't you about due for a 103.

"Doppleganging" Hahahahahahaha Absolutely love it as a verb. Absolutely agree about the "little deaths" too - most of the time (like you) I don't let it win, but the few battles that it DOES win, really upset me. I suppose sometimes it's about losing the battle but winning the war. It's a bit bizarre, isn't it, that I see it as my opposition at times, but then other times accept is as part of me. I suppose the latter is because I'm proud of myself for surviving all this crap, but also realise that it also it contributes to the compassionate and understanding person that I am. Sometimes it makes you feel so much older than your chronological age, but then gives you wisdom beyond your years. So ... I'm going to offer up another word for it. I think that AS is also a dichotomy (or at least it exists as one in me). Shot a 107 yesterday (drive left me for part of the game), which was still quite exciting, because I didn't feel that I was playing very well (took a 10 on one stupid hole), but still had a decent result!!! (And don't tell anyone, but I tied Loz yesterday sssshhhhhh!) Lots of love to you and your ladies! Jeanna

(And don't tell anyone, but I tied Loz yesterday sssshhhhhh!) Hey Steve - Jeanna very nobly chose a less expensive course yesterday becuase we've been playing so much lately that it's ruining us. Unfortunately this also happened to be a more narrow course than our usuals and just as my old slice has come back with a vengence. I don't know how I went from 89 last year to 107 this year but I can tell you that if you had seen the 14 or so hell-holes in which my wayward driver landed me yesterday you'd have been faily impressed with my 107!! With my next industry society competition coming up in one week I've given up trying to fix the slice myself and will be taking a lesson after work today. Wish me luck please. Cheers,
Loz - Life isn't always a matter of holding good cards, but sometimes of playing a poor hand well.
