If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

What do any of you who are also on Humira think? What kind of results are you getting? Any pain relief?
I'm 21, female, Canadian, and have AS. I've been on Humira since January of this year and the only things I'm even vaguely noticing other than the shot itself are nausea and my worsening complexion.
AS, anemia, tendonitis, enthesitis.

That's great! I had heard rumours that people can fully function on it, glad to hear they're true

it did take a few months to really get to working. Sorry your not getting any relief. there are other meds out there if humira not working for you just talk to your doc and hopefully they try something else to get the AS under control. Good luck

I'm sorry Humira isn't or has not yet worked for you. In my case I noticed improvement hours after the shot. I feel good now. I have felt some SI joint pain at night. And like Sooner I feel some day time pains near the end of my two week cycle.

Hi there, I was on Humira from Sept 09 to Feb '10 - got the flu or ? cant remember so I had to suspend it. I recall it took about 3 months to kick in and then the mobility was became better, I was able to step up steps one after the other - the hips were very hard to move. I havent gone back to it and get very tired and if I do too much it knocks me out the next day, funny I dont know my limits until after... I think it worked well for me and like the previous poster stated - I would feel the pain coming back just befor the next shot was due. Now I'm trying to just remain active.\ and that helps.

Hi EmilyM, I'm sorry the Humira hasn't done anything positive for you after all this time. Being that the Humira hasn't been working for you since January, it shouldn't be a problem to tell your doctor that you need something else. I hope you can find something that works better for you soon. Take care. James

Hi there and welcome to KA. As I understand it, you should have felt more positive results by now. Do you have the option to try Remicade, Simponi or Enbrel? One of those might work better for you. Hugs,
Kat

Hi Em
I was on Humira for 4 months and it did absolutely nothing. I kept waiting for the " whiz bang ring the bells whoohoo effect"...but nothing. I switched to remicade and noticed a difference in 24 hrs. Humira worked for my daughter and remicade didn't.
Don't be afraid to ask try another biologic. Hope you have success soon
