Can't say I've ever suffered from drinking a beer, but an excess of 'em when young freed the tongue only to cause regret and embarrassment. But "those were the days my friend, we thought they'd never end, we'd sing and dance . . . " Now, a weekly stout or ale, or an occasional Irish Cream, seems harmless. Cheers,

Nothing like the bottom of a beer stein to find ecstasy or maudlin sentiment, that is, until dawn. Thank goodness those days were few and far behind me. For all the aesthetic genius of a Janis Joplin and others back in the sixties and seventies their music failed to subdue the imbibing or needles. How's your winter down-under, Staffy?

I may be wrong but I don't have trouble with beer, I stay away from the exotic stuff, the wheat bear the flavored beer etc. Passes the iodine test also. I assume the starch goes away during fermenting. I may be unusual but that is nothing new.
