Wow Betty, since you are feeling so energetic would you come to my house. I have laundry to wash, dishes to wash and a floor to mop. lol

Oh please let Immunex provide me with the real drug...please, please, please.

A normal life again...WOW...do I dare to dream for a normal life again?

Well I must get ready for my battery of doctor appointments today. I will fill you in on the details tonight when I return home.

To the Energizer Bunny!!! I like that!
I've been feeling pretty good since on Enbrel also but I've tried going back to work and just couldn't handle standing for 7 hours. My knees and shoulders have been giving me pain which I've never had before Enbrel. I don't really mind though because I now sleep very good at night. Now 5-6 hours a night compared to 2-4, and this without any pain now so I won't complain.
Do you work sitting or standing? Eitherway for me, I can't handle them too easily for long periods of time.
Take care,
mars

Hi Mars...I need to go out on the Internet and find me a "signature" (bunny).

I never stay in one place very long. I have a job that i can stand, walk, sit, etc. I decide when and what.

I work in an outpatient brain injury center as a cognitive / vocational therapist. We identify cognitive areas of concern and assist with strategies to work around these deficits. Mentoring these individuals on marketing techniques and job keeping skills is a large part of the program.

Went to the study doc today. They said the cough was not of concern unless I had a fever or took medication. I was able to get rid of the cough with salt water, lemon, and honey. Yum!

Hey "Energizer Bunny",

Well, I had all my day 1 of the study labs and x-rays done today. And I got my first shot of 1cc of ... something.

As for the eye thing, I also had an appointment to see the ophthalmologist, she said that I had a scratch on my eye, and due to the arthritis it was having trouble healing. So it was not uveitis or iritis, but it is still treated the same way. I don't care as long as the knife in my eye goes away.

My study nurse said before any other doc perscribes something for me I need to call them and make sure that it is not on the exclusion list.

So here I go. Hopefully, I will be the next "Energizer Bunny". My husband will be ecstatic, a clean house to come home to, and the laundry done, and dinner cooked, ... yahda-yahda-yahda. More importantly my children and my roses will be happier again.

Just to let you know how great Enbrel can be in the "Energizer" department.......before I started, I couldn't get out of bed without help. After 3 weeks of Enbrel, I painted the bathroom. Hopefully I'll catch up with all my Spring Cleaning.

Hugs,

Cindy

Hi, Energizer Bunny!!

I'm not quite that energetic, but I'm working on it.

I had my clinic appointment Wed. I mentioned the brain fog, and it was duly noted. I also found that I had gained another 4 pounds. That makes 7 total. And now I'm feeling depressed. I have swore off anything that looks/smells/tastes good.

My flare made me do poorly on some of the flexibility tests, but I told them I still felt great. Just a bit of extra pain, but no more stiffness. It takes about 30 seconds in the morning to stretch, and that's the end of the stiffness.

I should have been stiff when I got there. The heater is leaking in our van, so Roger disconnected it. Should be alright until it can be replaced. After all, it is Spring. WRONG!!! It didn't take going very far, before we reached snow-covered mountains. Temps were in the teens. I wrapped up in everything I could find, but it was so COLD. It was only a 4 1/2 hour drive. So onward and upward with the Enbrel. It's great stuff.

Hugs,

Cindy
