Gonna speak with a mental health person tomorrow because I feel I am really bipolar, not just severely depressed.

Sorry, everyone. I tried but couldn't continue. Sorry.

So very sorry to learn of this Magician. Am sad for you because I know how much this educational stint meant to you. But as you can't carry on, then far beter for yu to quit. NO point making yourself ill over the matter. Think it was darn brave of you to even think of doing it let alone starting back at school again - cor, not fer me hon! (Think they'd throw me out anyways for being recalcitrant!)

You'll get through this episode and come back up smiling, you'll see. Big big (((HUGS))) hugss hugss hugss

Don't apologize. You really tried to do this. Taking a medical leave of absence is a great idea. It leaves the door open to continuing later. Getting your mental health stable is more important. My 21 year old daughter has bipolar and it took several years to tweak her meds to where she is able to function quite well now.

Let us know how things go.

I am proud of you for listening to your body and knowing when to say enough is enough. That has been very hard for me to do with this dang disease!!

Good for you. Don't cry. Just take a big cleansing deep breath and go on from here.

Big hugs to you.

No shame in that! If you're not feeling up to it, what's the point? You know what's best for you. Take a breather...feel better..and go from there. smile

Cheers,

Steph

OK, a little more for you all.

I am supposed to be having a 60% course load but am stuck in a 100% one. Yesterday was only the first day of the second half of the first year stuff and already I have 5 tests, each one on a different day.

It is impossible for me to relax there. So my new plan of 'attack' is to dump the 3 credit courses and focus on the 12 credit ones because I am still hanging on with a 69% in them.

To make up the difference in credits, I will be taking distance courses in the summer only. Can not do any more because this is costing me sanity and lots of money.

I am content with my decision for now.

BTW, I really did get an F in math and really am retaking it in the summer.

I don't know what else I can do with one year of Office Admin but I do know it is not for me. Always so unhappy in the classes. And who on earth would hire someone with a screwed up back, always taking pain drugs and using a stick to walk with? In this area, I don't think any place would let me take out their garbage, let along serve customers.

Oh, before I forget. Today I contact Apple and return the iPad. Yet another mistake I had made. I now feel a mini laptop would have served me far better. Sorry, Apple. frown

Today I will be going in for exactly two classes. English and OB. The others I don't care about and am dropping. I had wanted to take the entire course by Distance and that was denied by the government. Such idiots.

They should try to juggle having health issues (and the medical tests to go along with them) and have an excessive amount of school tests to write. Oh, add to it bad, bad memory combined with depression plus a tumor which adds to the memory issue. Don't forget the stick either!!

One of my fellow students became homeless on the weekend and has left to visit a friend in the US. I told her to keep in contact with me so we (her friends) will know where she is as we are worried for her.

And another is a drug addict who arrives each day 'meth'ed' up. She is selling her body to get the money for the crap which is killing her. But she passed her math!

Girl it sounds to me like you are MUCH stronger than you give yourself credit for!!!! You are taking on SO much. Just letting some of that load slide off your plate is VERY smart and will help to keep you sane. We always want to prove that we are "super women" but we aren't. As much as we try. LOL!!! You are rocking it out though and you need to keep it up!!! GREAT JOB!!!!!
