I have this comfy overstuffed recliner that I like to sleep in a lot. I haven't slept in my own bed in quite a while. I usually shuffle from couch, loveseat, recliner, repeat. All. Night. Long. Well, last night I was in the recliner, and I guess I had most of my weight on the top of it. I was half-awake/half-asleep when I felt myself falling backwards. I toppled onto the floor and somehow the recliner managed to fall on top of me shocked It wasn't painful and I wasn't hurt....... but dang, that was a rude awakening! That won't stop me from sleeping in the recliner anymore, but from now on I'll have to be more careful about weight distribution.

That was quite the visual! I've come close to falling off the bed in order to turn over! The indignities we a.s.ers must endure, but yep at least we can laugh about it!

Scarlett I had to laugh as well. (Of course when I realized you were not hurt)
I sleep in my recliner now as well. Haven't slept in my bed in months. (My dog enjoys the queen size bed in my room by himself now... except when he seems to think he is not a 70lb dog and wants to sleep in the recliner with me!)
I have woken myself up by almost tipping the chair back, so understand that rude awakening.
So glad you weren't hurt and that you can laugh about it now.
Wishing you much more peaceful sleep in the future LOL

Have a great night
Pam
