For me, Ultram = EVIL. Pouring sweat, hot flashes, headaches, racing heart with NO pain relief...hated it. Glad it works for so many peeps...I'm just not one of them. Evil stuff.

I just switched from ultram 300mg er to Tylenol 3 with codeine due to cost reasons. Honestly, I can't tell much of a difference

hey kids...

look...tylenol 2/3/4/ and tramadol...first these little puppies are like a bb gun. small round not a lot of power.

they do make better pain meds...bigger guns.

i used to call tylenol 3's m&m's.

...then will someone gimme the bazooka of pain killers PLEASE! ;-)

added: Ben, you've warped my brain (as if that were possible). I can't get the image out of my head of Al Pacino doing his "cock-a-roaches" Scarface scene, but with vicodin bullets.

Thats awesome!!!! I love scarface.

I am afraid to go much stronger as even though the tyenol 3 is like m&ms it does take the edge off. If I go stronger I am afraid I won't be able to coherently do my job.

i got to probably 800/1000 tylenol 4's a years maybe/probably more...really bad for your liver.

now i take Norco...and i seem to get along with fewer than half as many pills now...norco is hydrocodone.
i was offered methadone many years ago, and a patch; said, "NO."

good luck

I take Narco also. I usually break them in half and they still work well. Norco contains less Tylenol then Vicoden so it's better for the liver.

agreed, the pain is still kind of there for me with tramadol, but it takes the edge off. It makes me not really care the pain & stiffness is there.

I've found that Tramadol and Skelaxin works pretty good for me. The combo of pain releiver and muscle relaxer, combined with heat at night, really help me do a good stretching/yoga routine. Sometimes if my diet is poor that day, I will take them very late at night and some of the effects last till early morning.
