If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

i wouldn't for the pain if my pain were that mild but for the iritis i would unless something else could take care of the iritis. drizzit was saying the other day that while he was on the LDN, his iritis was under control for two years, so maybe LDN?
sue
Spondyloarthropathy, HLAB27 negative Humira (still methylprednisone for flares, just not as often. Aleve if needed, rarely.) LDN/zanaflex/flector patches over SI/ice vits C, D. probiotics. hyaluronic acid. CoQ, Mg, Ca, K. chiro walk, bike no dairy (casein sensitivity), limited eggs, limited yeast (bread)

Given your spot I might try Sulfasalazine first and see how that goes. It has shown success for AS patients and is a good first step before going to the TNF drugs.
LDN does seem to work for me for iritis. TNF drugs may slow damage to joints like the hip but I don't think we know if they slow the fusion process. For my son SImponi seems to have stopped the hip narrowing he was seeing in xrays.
Best of luck.

If you are in the US, insurance may require you try less expensive therapies first before going on an aTNF. I have diagnosis of inflammatory arthritis and started with trials of NSAIDs. When those didn't work, I got a steroid taper or 2. With a stellar response, I got to try sulfasalazine, then methotrexate. None of those worked by themselves, so now I'm on Remicade and methotrexate. After 4 doses, waiting for response.
With minimal symptoms, I don't think I'd risk these drugs. JMO. Even on meds, I'm still taking narcotics for pain from various joint/tendon inflammations. NSAIDs had as much pain-killing activity as M&Ms, which taste better. However, with iritis, you can't mess around.
DX: Psoriatic Arthritis, Osteoporosis, Psoriasis Meds: MTX since Oct 2009, 15mg/week. Cimzia-restarted after 2 yrs away. Epidural Steroid Injections x8; Lumbar Radiofreq Ablation x2 SIJ Steroid Injection x3; Bilateral Radiofreq Ablation SIJ x9

I agree with you on that one when I started Humira my iritis flare up ceased, my aches, pains lessened and my energy went back to almost normal. My right eye is permanently damaged due to the iritis.

Dx'd April 2008 Prednisone 5mg Plaquinel 400mg Enbrel 50mg/week Methotrexate 25mg/week Lidoderm 5% patch, love em! Bio-35 multivit I call them crackamins their great for energy! and a whole slew of anti-inflammatory and pain pills
