Some of you might remember I've been pretty sick in the past year, with some totally random and serious symptoms. Long story short, I think it might be because of chronic fluoride toxicity from fluoride in city tap water (water filters don't help at all).
Interesting to read. Our water here in SE QLD was only recently fluoridated. As in the last year or two so I know it is not what caused my AS symptoms, however it is very much a concern regarding how it may affect my AS or my children. I have never been a fan of fluoridating the water but what can we do?
Flouridation of water is one of the biggest conspiracies out there.. It was used by Hitler in the concentration camps to dumb down the jews and make them less like to resist.
methinks this a very valid lead, certainly worthy of devising some tests to see if fluoridation or not will make a difference!

I briefly thought about this skeletal fluorosis concept myself at one juncture. I really need to revisit it. Not only do these [*bleep*] add this toxic stuff (sodium fluoride as opposed to naturally occurring calcium fluoride) to the drinking water in many (most?) communities here in the U.S., my sister and I had taken fluoride pills for a period of time when we were youngsters per either a doctor's or dentist's direction (I think it was the former - it helps to explain why I have the outlook I do regarding medical "professionals"). My parents, who shoulder no blame in my book if fluoride was a contributing factor, were taking the doctor's advice in good faith. They still struggle to comprehend my views challenging some of advice I receive from physicians, therefore they still possess much of this blind faith. However, my father is now much more open to ideas that challenge the establishment's advice. My mom, not so much.
There are some water filters that do reduce the amount of toxic fluoride by 95% or more. One can be found here, but the fluoride/arsenic filter must be purchase in addition to the standard filter. I'd like to guess there are other manufacturers too. I've been eying one of these manufacturer's units for some time for emergency preparedness. I've yet to make the purchase...oh well, looks like I won't be so prepared.

It is my understanding that water fluoridation was to be used against any population in any geographical area which Hitler wanted to conquer, not only against prisoners (gypsies, jews, homosexuals, crippled/disabled...basically anyone who didn't fit his ideal race). I've also read, true or not, that Stalin warmed up to this idea and the mass fluoridation concept was embraced by the U.S. government either during or shortly after WWII.

Just to clarify, we are talking apples and oranges in the amounts of fluoridation and the purpose here.
There are many substances in use in the world that can be very beneficial in small amounts and yet toxic is larger amounts. Vitamin D comes to mind among other things

I then encourage you to find and cite information regarding beneficial properties of sodium fluoride.
