If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

The autoinjector just went off before I was ready to inject.
My first ever Simponi shot (the prevous one) felt like it didn't do a full dose - and then I read on their site that there were some problems with the autoinjector not delivering the full dose.
My second Simponi shot, tonight, wouldn't inject. I was pressing like mad, and nothing.
Changed grip, tried some more, nothing. Am I that weak? Tried some more until I needed to apply more disinfectant. Wiped the inject site, went to rest the injector on the skin and click - it goes off on its own!
It went into my skin, made me jump as I wasn't ready for it, so I instinctively drew my hand back and watched the stream of Simponi head for the floor.
Unbelievable!
I uesed the Humira Autoinjector for over a year and never had any problems.
I'm going to see my rheumy asap and switch back to Enbrel.
James

Sorry to hear that. I have not had any problems with the simponi auto inject and like it a lot. I give a shot about once every 40 days now. My son switched to the self inject simponi and he likes those better than the auto inject. I think Megan is using the self inject as well.
Best of luck
We all have to find what works for us. I would hate once a week shots personally given my schedule.

No families take so little medicine as those of doctors, except those of apothecaries.

Hey Jimmy-James! That's exactly what happened when I went to do my first shot. I'm sure you read about my giant gripe about it a month ago (and how it didn't taste very good lol). Sorry that it happened to you too. I never did manage to fight long and hard enough to get a replacement for it - just ordered the second shot and used it as my first shot (since 100% covered by drug coverage).
I've since switched to the pre-filled. I'm not going to fight with the auto-injector just to have it spray all over me again. lol
I wouldn't switch to another drug just because the delivery is faulty. I'm sure they'll improve it - we can't be the only ones having problems with these. You can always order the prefilled syringes instead. Would be a shame to switch since you seem to have had good results with the drug itself! (It's still not doing a thing for me, and I just did the 2nd shot today.)
Let me know how it goes...
