Been a few rough days....

Had some stomach issues we think from being in an ER with a friend last week, her parents were both in there at the same time..i knew it was risky and I should have had a mask but no I wanted to be there for her.

When you are on a biologic and you have heart failure maybe I should get a clue....ahhh! this has made me think.

That of course kicked the heart failure in full action..out of it the last 2 days my pulse so low that Bill had to check my pulse and make sure I was still alive, I was at 50 beats a minute (way too low) called the Doc went on major lasix. You know something is horribly wrong with your heart when it is almost 80 degrees in your house and you are freezing..lol the family is begging me to give them some AC and I am in bed dressed with blankets and goosebumps.

I keep thinking this is the week for the Cardiologist but alas another 2 weeks has gone by, waiting for the last Remicade to post with BCBS for the remainder of the deductible close to $5000.00 and they posted 1 page surgical stuff for $100.00. In the past it has always posted within 2 weeks, we are now working on 3 weeks wednesday....ya know a person could seriously die before getting help and that sucks for someone like me that has 2 insurance policies.

Guess Im just feeling bad and feeling sorry for myself..Tori will be 17 next sunday and Im just hoping I can struggle my way thru that and breathe thru her birthday...accidently slipped and said something about my heart today and Ethan flipped out (remember we havent told him) now he cries and says I wont live to see him grow up....

The days just keep gettin better...sorry for the rant!

Virtual hug on its way to you. I'm sorry the suffering is so intense now, and I'm praying you can get through this and your body will heal. I'm also praying for the financial problems and the strength of your family as they are supporting you (and so worried).

Hi,
I was just told it's okay to complain, it helps to get it out. I was taught from a friend to do "morning pages", and it has helped me a lot. She told me to write 3 full pages of what ever is in your head when you wake up, it doesn't have to be pretty or well written(no one will see it but you anyway). Write it down, even if it makes no sense at the time, just keep writing until you have filled the three pages(and if you are going through hell right now it shouldn't be a problem). It may sound silly, but try it for a week and see what it does for you.

Hugs Nette
