If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Hello everyone - I am desperately seeking a good Rheumatolgist in the area of San Diego, California. My father lives in El Cajon and I hope to take him to see a doctor during our visit this month, or at least to arrange an appointment for him. Please let me know if you can help. Thanks so much! - Patrice Politics: the entertainment branch of industry. - Frank Zappa

Dr. Carol Young in Escondido, California Is excellent. I would highly recommend her, even though you would have to drive a little further.
Good Luck,

I was able to find a referral website maintained by the American College of Rheumatology. Here is the url for their docs listed in Stockton. Hope this helps you find the right one for you. Interview them all I say! Good luck. - Patrice http://www.rheumatology.org/directory/city.asp?hCountry=USA&city=Stockton&state=CA Ah, that a man's reach should exceed his grasp, or what's a heaven for? - Browning Edited by Michelle in Md on 05/10/02 04:56 AM (server time).

Coleen Ann - Thanks for the quick response! My rheumy (the fabulous Paul Brown, M.D., Ph. D. of Seattle) recommended the referral website of the American College of Rheumatology: http://www.rheumatology.org/directory/geo.asp . I click on the the state of California, city of Escondido, and their she is - Dr. Carol Young! I am so glad to have your personal approval of her. I will try to get my father to see her. Thanks again. Wishing you the best. - Patrice Ah, that a man's reach should exceed his grasp, or what's a heaven for? - Browning

Patrice, thankyou for listing this site... I had gone to the site before to get names of local rheumys. But glad you put it up here... i went back to it to see if maybe another one in my area had been added (nope the same as before.) BUT... there were email addresses listed for 3 of them. Sooooo.... going to email those 3 and ask if they would know of any rheumy's here in Spokane that would accept state medical. Wish me luck Take care, Pam "Just like moons and like suns, with the certainty of tides. Just like hopes springing high, Still I'll rise." Maya Angelou

Miss Jess - Thanks for the response. Do tell... who is the Great One? I would love to get her name before I leave Thursday morning. I am glad to hear that you have found someone you like. It seems that nothing can make life with AS easy, but finding a good doc sure can make it easier. Hey, and thanks for the welcome. I just wish I could find more time to sit at the computer these days. This forum is so wonderful! - Patrice Ah, that a man's reach should exceed his grasp, or what's a heaven for? - Browning
