Folks, Anyone tried seasoning their meat/dish with coriander or cumin or even hot peppers? Since they both don't turn black with iodine, was thinking if we could use them to spice up our foods a bit. I use hot peppers very liberally as they are also inflammatory but wasn't sure about cumin and coriander.

Yes, I LOVE cumin. Doesn't turn black and I frequently use that. Haven't tried coriander or hot peppers really. Another delicious spice I use is celery seed. It lends a load of flavor and haven't found it to be starchy.
