If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

I am feeling well enough to wean down off of my prednisone, but it makes me irritable. If anyone has any advice in regard to moodiness, I would appreciate it. I was wondering if a supplement or vitamin can help with grouchiness as I taper off of it, thank you.
Diet change has improved my RA. I feel best eating raw veggies and some fruits and avoiding grains, sugars, nightshades, beans and dairy. Sed rate dropped from 65 to 19, but it took over a year. www.fatsickandnearlydead.com excess fat/oils = pain for me recipes for raw food on Youtube "raw food romance" and "healing josephine" Josephine is in remission from RA after two years by change diet/exercise

Do it super slow especially if you have been on it a while. There is no real help other than not coming straight off. If you quit cold turkey and have been dependent on it for 3 months or longer then you can have internal organ failure. Best thing to do is to step a dose every other night for a week. Then the next week stay at that dose. Then do the next level every other night for a week, then do that new low dose like that till your off. It took me from Jan to April to come off 20mg I had taken for 22 months. My head was so much clearer and attitude changed 140% for the better. Problem was iritis started along with me not being able to function. We were really hoping Remicade was the magical fix with the 10 vial dose but alas in May I had to go back to a 10mg dose a day and up to 20mg as needed which is becoming more often.
Step down schedule my doc wrote example Mon-2x5mg am, 2x5mg pm Tue-2x5mg am, 1x5mg pm wed-2x5mg am, 2x5mg pm etc in that pattern for a week. next week went Mon-Sun: 2x5mg am, 1x5mg pm Then the next week went Mon-2x5mg am, 1x5mg pm Tue-1x5mg am, 1x5mg pm Wed-2x5mg am, 1x5mg pm ect Then Mon-Sun: 1x5mg am, 1x5mg pm Then next week Mon: 1x5mg am, 1x5mg pm Tues 1x5mg am, nothing at night Wed- 1x5mg am, 1x5mg pm etc Then Mon-Sun-1x5mg Then Mon: 1x5mg Tue :nothing Wed 1x5mg and so forth and so on till your off. I must warn you as I did experience extra stiffness/pain from the withdrawals. Just take your time and if you don't feel right don't reduce the dose anymore and see your dr immediately as predisone causes the body to quit producing cortisol on its own and it may take your adrenal glands a while to readjust and start working again
