Hi...Since 2years I am suffering with knee pain,I have consulted Rheumatologist and taking lots of medicines.I'm getting pain relief only when I used arthritis remedies.I want permanent pain relief,is surgery will give permanent pain relief to me.
Give me any suggestions please regarding to surgery.

Do you have AS? Is that is what is giving you problems in your knee? I would need to know more about your condition to even begin to help.

Have you seen an orthopedic surgeon? It will depend on your problem. Even then, there are no guarantees. My husband had
multiple surgeries through the years for different reasons that gave him some relief. He had two replacements on the same knee in the past couple of years with no relief.
I hope you will see another dr.

Hi...
I don't have AS.Still now I didn't consult any orthopedic surgeon regarding to my knee arthritis surgery.First of all scary about these surgeries.If in case it fails,what about my position?Can I walk properly?

My father (89) has recently had a whole knee replacement because of severe Arthritis...........he loves it and has had no problems..........he wont allow problems, his positive approach sees him through............oh, and he has no more pain in that knee..........loves it.

i had my right knee replaced 2 years ago and its as good as new. the left knee is giving me some trouble but i will not let it get as bad as the right one was. i was getting shots in both knees but had a bad reaction to them. replacement was my only option and im glad i had it done. mike
