I know coffee enemas sound gross, but I read in the Gerson Therapy that in WW1 they gave them to the solidiers for pain because they were low on morphine and they felt alot better after taking a coffee enema. Also, cancer patients following the Gerson Therapy take them every day and expereince pain relief just from taking them. I will post a link later that explains how they help the liver detox. It doesnt give you the jitters either because the way it is absorbed. The patient holds the coffee in for 12-15 minutes & the blood cycles throught the liver and colon and te blood gets purified before the patient releases the coffee. Sometimes there is a BM sometimes not. Sounds gross, but I know there are a lot of people in pain here and just wanted to put it out there to help. www.coffee-enema.ca

It doesnt sound gross at all, if it can help with the pain:)
Diagnosed at July 2012 after 8 months of pain. HLA-B27 negative. NSAIDS don't really work. I can't use Anti-TNF because i had tuberculosis years ago. Wish you all best health, M. Sami Kuzey

Thanks, that is what I thought, if it helps with pain then whats 15 minutes of discomfort.

I don't use the bag , it is too much work I use two small little saline filled bottles from the drugstore, empty out the saline and fill with organic coffee made in the french press. It is not coincidence that I feel wonderful since strating them. My pain is diminishing. The vegan diet is helping too, but I feel less pain in my low back and less visible swelling in my knees when I do the CE's. I just do it once a day in the morning, it has made such a difference.

Tried them for 2-3 mos & definitely helped with the pain. I also just did 1x in the morning. But then my chest joints flared so severely was unable to get up/down from a lying position so had to give them up.
AS 30+ yrs HLA-B27 positive Crohns (20 yrs of NSAIDS controlled AS but destroyed gut) Chronic spontaneous tearing of tendons & ligaments; limited walking ability Humira, LDN, LSD, L-Glutamine, multi-vit, vit d, vit c, adjustable bed, every pain patch and/or topical analgesic known to man,  Nortriptyline for pain.

can you do a coffe enema at home? how does one go about performing it?
I have learned a bit about the gerson method and I think it's great. Currently I am working with NSD and Ayurveda for 6 weeks so far and its going pretty well....
