Hey Guys,
I've been on NSD for a couple of months with literally awesome results which has allowed me to go cold turkey on the NSAIDs as of 6 days ago. After another week or so I would like to start playing with testing some 'safe' starches to see how I react.

White/glutenous rice seems to be the first thing to play with but what other starches do you guys think I should look to try for starters?

Cheers
Andy

Garlic is a safe starch for most of Nsd-ers, probably because has an antimicrobial effect.

Hi Andy,

I only tried glutinous rice flour so far, made pancakes out of it ( thanks to zark) no issues. I think I actually felt better after it.

I did a post on the difference between rice and potato starches while I was without any meds but quite sick / vulnerable to foods. Organic rice that is both amylopectin & includes soluble fiber seems to be the best for me.
