He certainly did make a difference. I also thought of him recently. KickAS has brought so many good people in to my life.

I haven't visited this site in several months. I'm only just discovering this news.. I just wanted to quickly say that I'm really sorry to hear about George. Sending my thoughts and condolences out to you BlueNorthern and everybody else that's been affected by this loss

This thread got bumped by Darren who had not posted here in years but finally saw the thread. Many long time posters here still think about George from time to time and you may see a reference. He was a very special Kicker with a very gentle nature about him. Tim

Hey Tim,
Wow I had no idea that it was such a long time ago. For some reason I thought it had only happened a few months ago. I never spoke to George but you're right about him being referenced around here from time to time. It seems like he was a very influential and inspiring person that touched many peoples lives.
Thanks for correcting me about this Tim. I hope you and your son are both doing well these days mate!

Hi Dorrit, am so sorry for your loss...I remember George from the start of my experience here at KA...more than fifteen years ago i bet...he was always here chatting and encouraging ASkickers...may he rest in peace...I have not been around here a lot as I used to but tonight I had a feeling that I needed to log on...and I saw your post...My thoughts and prayers go out to you and George...

Dorrit, I still think of George as well. He really was special and I still have the dvd of the Teeshoe story he sent to me.
