Anyone else experience gastroenteritis with AS my body is about to shut down... Keep going to the toilet after every mealy for the past few days, i have a temperature and a banging headache all my bones ache i feel weak and i keep felling hot and cold..... All this on top of the usual pains  This is torture i hope it stops soon i just keep drinking liquids at the moment i do not fell like eating because i know whats going to happen Any advice?

If its a virus, just needs to run its course.
Get as much rest and sleep as you can. Drink as much water as you can.
I had a terrible virus for about 10 days. I had a fever for 4 days, then was feeling better, then after 3 days, worse again. I think I tried to do too much going back to work too soon. Fever and chills, headache, eye pain, skin pain, body aches. Exhaustion. Even now my stomach is rather queasy, but no throwing up at least, just belch, gassy, nauseated. But the stomach is the last symptom left.
Not much one can do for a virus except allow the body to fight it.
I did take Aleve for the fever. That could be why my stomach is bothering me, still. Did take expectorant for the congestion so it didn't get into my chest.

Humira (still methylprednisone for flares, just not as often. Aleve if needed, rarely.)
LDN/zanaflex/flector patches over SI/ice
vits C, D. probiotics. hyaluronic acid. CoQ, Mg, Ca, K.

no dairy (casein sensitivity), limited eggs, limited yeast (bread)

Sounds like stomach flu to me. Have you been to your GP?

are you feeling better yet? hope so.  i went back and read your description now and it does sound like you had a virus. it does suck while its happening, but at least they don't last more than a week or two typically. are you back to normal?

I am so sorry. I think it is time to see the dr. You may need some IV fluids. Certainly need the fever checked out.

hi Ianna i decided not to go because it normally goes away istelf i just made sure i drank a lot of liquids and now im back to normal. Thanks for your concern
