Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I was fortunate to celebrate weeks earlier in Canada and then again in the USA. I'm a lucky girl! smile

Turkey is a lean meat that can do no harm. I absolutely love eating turkey. It may be hard not to have gravy with starch, but I can easily do without it and put some cranberries on top instead.

Over here in the U.K. thanksgiving doesn't seem to have the same importance as it does in the U.S.A. In the U.K. it is more of a local thing with schools having a half term holiday and churches deciding themselves locally when it should be held. The local school that my grandchildren attend had their half term break some weeks ago but other schools had it on a different date. I think to have turkey now would be too near to Christmas. Still as I say if it suits you then why not.

I miss turkey... not a lot of it here in Argentina to eat.
