Has anyone got Renal Glycosuria, with The Ankylosing Spondylitis , to try to cope with, as i have had to endure over my lifetime, or am Unique in the world we live in. Rod from UK.

Hi Rod:
I have only heard of this once before in one of our patients, an Australian fellow who had it possibly the result of amyloidosis. It is a heritable condition and probably not normally associated with AS. I do wonder whether it can be caused by NSAID usage; I have lowered kidney function because of this. Also thinking that the NSD might be of some benefit to both conditions.
