One of the reasons I set up a new Site for Ankylosing Spondylitis on Yahoo is for those of you who want NON Censored posting. Not that I have anything against this site I love it. I just had another problem over at Yahoo. PLEASE come and join us we need new members. Look at our photo section and add a photo, conduct your own poll or post a non censored message. I am promoting ideas nothing else. Please join us and keep posting here also as I do. More is better. CODY

GIVE ME A BREAK!!!!!!! These fine people are kind enough to establish an environment where new and long time sufferers of AS can learn how to deal with this hell and you are bitching about a stupid joke. Adios Rich I can't wait to count your numerous posts after your big decloration.

You need to just get your facts straight. Richard HAS been here since the beginning and HAS helped me out "numerous" times. Not wanting to start an argument, but we don't want to lose any members, including you or Richard.

Richard My Long time Friend, SORRY to see You in such a quandary. I hate that You see fit to leave KickAS, You have been around for such a long time and we need members with such longevity. You were always, have been and can continue to be an asset to the group. This is not a plea to beg You to stay, do as You must. It is just more of an invitation to reconsider and continue to be a part of such a vital support group.
Your a grown man and are perfectly capable of making Your own decisions. However just as life with AS, we live in a GLASS CAGE, we are sometimes ridiculed in public for our very distinctive differences. We have to learn to overlook a lot, and that is what I'm suggesting be done in this case.
Being a moderator for such a large group, with such diversities is a difficult task. One that I don't think that I would care to fulfill, however I am greatful for those that give of their time and skill's to do so. Without them the site would be just another site among many.

Gary said it well. I can't tell you how important it is to me to see those ASKickers with longevity such as yourself still around. Also I like to keep anyone fond of the game of golf in the fold so that perchance someone will listen to my tedious occasional golf woes.

I know this may be a sensitive subject, however, if the site had guidelines for people to go by when poasting, maybe feelings would not get hurt so much.

The more I thought about it the more I had to ask myself, "What county doesnt have guidelines (aka laws)." Hmmm. . . When you go to the movies (at least in the US) the movie has a rating set by sertin guidelines for the enjoyment of the proper viewer. Oh and how about driving? Arent there rules to keep everyone safe, which makes everyone happy.

Im not saying Im for a dictatorship, but it doesnt have to get that far. We do have some younger members and should be aware that they are part of this family too.

Sorry I missed the joke. I'll pop over and check it out in a second. In the mean time I just gotta say that I too am constantly paranoid about doing, saying, or posting the wrong thing. I have no class. I'm a vulgar, foul mouthed, dirty minded, scum bag that LOVES a filthy joke! I should be working on an oil rig or strip club. Too bad my body isn't built for either.

The thing is I sometimes don't realize when I cross the line. I come from a dope smoking, beer drinking, pool playing, partying type of place and nothing really surprises me.....except that I haven't been band from this place already!
I rely on people like the Admins to keep me on the straight and narrow and fully expect to keep them as busy as possible over the next few decades by having them delete and rewrite various posts from time to time.

Please don't take offense at their attempts to make this a place where all walks of life can visit. I get offended by too much of the goodie goodie stuff sometimes. It makes me crazy! So I try to imagine how my obnoxiousness (SP?) offends the goodie goodie types and try to stay neutral. It's soooo hard. We have extremes here there and every where. Right HERE we need to limit those extremes. Although your joke may have been mild to me it could have been extreme to others. It's such a small thing and loosing you would be such a big thing.
