Hi all,

I don't attend any physiotherapy groups but just wondered if anyone has bought and tried out a gym ball. I've read that using a gym ball can help improve posture. I just wonder if it's best used in a supervised group setting or is it safe unsupervised?

Stephen

Hey, Stephen:

The gym ball was a life saver when I had hip and knee trouble, but I have not used it much beyond resting positions. I am, however, not afraid of employing it for more active duty except that I bought a home gym that I'm still putting together... Normally, I go to the health club but it is a longer distance than practical now. Swimming is the best exercise for us.

Best Regards,
John
