I am sorry i cant b of much help on this one, but after reading the post again, a thought struck me, i could b way off here, but it was just a thought. These muscle spasm that seem to b around the midriff, feels like around the stomach, could this b something to with the stomach and bowels. IBS and crohns seem to b very common factors of AS i am wondering if it could b related to this. I dont know if u have any other symptoms of the above, but i couldnt help thinking it might b possible this could b a smptom of a mild form of it.
Like i say i am certainly no dr, and i could b way off here, but its just a thought.
